Dysport in Pensacola, FL
Dysport is an FDA-approved injectable that temporarily relaxes the muscles that create frown lines, the vertical "11s" between your brows. At Abound Aesthetics, a boutique med spa in Pensacola, Dysport is administered by nurse practitioner and master injector Rebecca Trevino. Most people notice softening within 2 to 3 days, see full results around day 14, and enjoy them for roughly 3 to 5 months.

The line between your eyebrows isn't really a line. It's a crease worn into your skin by a muscle you've contracted several thousand times, every time you've squinted into the Gulf sun, concentrated on a spreadsheet, or held back something you didn't want to say out loud.
Dysport is a purified neuromodulator (the clinical name is abobotulinumtoxinA). Injected in tiny amounts into that specific muscle, it interrupts the signal from nerve to muscle, so the muscle relaxes instead of contracting. The skin above it stops folding. Over the following weeks, the crease softens.
It does not fill anything. It does not tighten skin. It does not change your bone structure. It quiets one muscle, precisely, for a few months, and then it wears off completely.
That last part matters. Dysport is fully temporary. If you don't love it, you are never more than a few months away from exactly where you started. For a lot of the women who sit in our chair, that's the detail that finally makes it feel safe to try.
Consultation: Becca maps your muscle movement and talks through goals.
Treatment: About 10ā15 minutes; no numbing typically needed.
Same day: No downtime, most clients go straight back to their day.
3ā14 days: Results appear gradually.
3ā4 months: Results typically last, then it's time to schedule again.
All Botox at Abound Aesthetics is administered by Rebecca Trevino, Nurse Practitioner and Master Injector. Not a rotating roster - Rebecca, every time. Her standard is simple: results that look like you, on your ideal day.
Abound Aesthetics was founded by Hannah Moseley, licensed esthetician and owner, on the belief that beauty isn't about perfection - it's about amplifying what already makes you uniquely you. Every consultation includes education about what a treatment can and can't do, and an honest answer about whether it's right for you.
We're a boutique practice on purpose. You see the same faces, we remember your history, nobody rushes you.
There's a version of a med spa that feels like it requires a whole free afternoon and a specific kind of life. That's not this.
Dysport takes about fifteen minutes. Women come in on a lunch break from downtown, between the school drop-off on Nine Mile and a 10 a.m. meeting, or after work before dinner in Seville Square. You can walk out and go straight to Publix. No one will know unless you tell them.
The timing question we get most often is beach-related, and it's a fair one: plan your appointment about two weeks before anything you actually care about. A wedding at Pensacola Beach, a reunion, senior photos, a big presentation. Two weeks is when Dysport is fully settled and any small bruise has resolved. If it's three days out, we'll be honest and tell you to book it for after instead.
Our studio is at 100 S Baylen St E in downtown Pensacola, with easy parking. We see clients from Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Pace, Milton, Navarre, Perdido Key, Cantonment, and throughout Northwest Florida and Baldwin County.

This is the question we get more than any other, so let's answer it properly.
Dysport and Botox are both neuromodulators made from the same underlying protein, and both relax the muscles that cause expression lines. Neither one is universally "better." The practical differences are onset speed, unit measurement, and how the product behaves in the tissue.
We carry both, and Rebecca chooses based on your muscle strength, your treatment area, and how your face has responded before. If you've had Botox elsewhere and been happy, there is no reason to switch. If you've felt like Botox took too long to show up or faded too fast, Dysport is worth a conversation.
Most people see first softening in 2 to 3 days, slightly faster than Botox. Full results at 10 to 14 days. Nothing on day three is normal and not a sign it didn't take.
Typically 3 to 4 months. Duration varies with metabolism, muscle strength, exercise level, and dose. Strong muscles and high-intensity training both shorten it. Many people find results last longer after two or three consistent treatments.
Neither is universally better. Dysport shows results a day or two sooner and spreads slightly more broadly, which suits larger areas like the forehead. Botox stays more localized, which suits smaller, precise areas. The injector's skill matters more than the brand.
Different measurement scales. Roughly 2.5 to 3 Dysport units equal 1 Botox unit. A higher unit count doesn't mean more product or a stronger treatment.
It depends on your muscle strength and anatomy, so any number quoted online is a guess. For reference, FDA-approved dosing for frown lines is 50 units across five injection points. Forehead dosing is determined at consultation. We start conservatively and adjust at two weeks.
Dysport is priced by unit, and units depend on your treatment area and muscle strength, so a flat online price wouldn't be accurate for you. Your complimentary consultation includes an exact quote before anything is scheduled. No pressure.
