Xeomin in Pensacola, FL

Just the Tox. Nothing Added.

Xeomin is an FDA-approved injectable that relaxes the muscles creating frown lines. It's the only neurotoxin purified down to the active molecule alone, no complexing proteins, no additives. That purity is why it's often the answer for people whose Botox has gradually stopped working. At Abound Aesthetics, a boutique med spa in Pensacola, Xeomin is administered by nurse practitioner and master injector Rebecca Trevino.

  3. Are treating frown lines and want a straightforward, cost-effective option
  4. Have had a reaction or poor response to another neurotoxin and want to change variables
  5. Want the simplest apples-to-apples price comparison against Botox (the 1:1 units make it easy)

Your Xeomin Injector

All Xeomin at Abound Aesthetics is administered by Rebecca Trevino, Nurse Practitioner and Master Injector. Not a rotating roster - Rebecca, every time. Her standard is simple: results that look like you, on your ideal day.

We carry four neurotoxins, Botox, Dysport, Daxxify, and Xeomin, which sounds like a lot until you realize the alternative is recommending whichever one we happen to stock. Carrying all four means the recommendation can be about your face instead of our inventory.

Abound Aesthetics was founded by Hannah Moseley, licensed esthetician and owner, on the belief that beauty isn't about perfection , it's about amplifying what already makes you uniquely you. Every consultation includes an honest answer about whether a treatment is right for you.

Xeomin in Pensacola

Fifteen minutes. Clients come in on a lunch break downtown, between the Nine Mile drop-off and a morning meeting, or after work before dinner in Seville Square. You can walk out and go straight to Publix.

The timing rule holds: book about two weeks before anything you care about. A wedding at Pensacola Beach, a reunion, senior photos, a presentation. Two weeks is when results are settled and any bruise has resolved. Xeomin's onset window runs a little wider than other products, so if anything, give yourself the full fourteen days rather than cutting it close.

Our studio is at 100 S Baylen St E in downtown Pensacola, with easy parking. We see clients from Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Pace, Milton, Navarre, Perdido Key, Cantonment, and throughout Northwest Florida and Baldwin County.

If Your Botox Has Stopped Working

Here's a situation we see: someone has been getting Botox for years. It worked beautifully. Then the results started fading sooner. Then a treatment barely did anything. They assume they're doing something wrong, or that their face has changed, or that their injector got sloppy.

Sometimes what's actually happened is antibody resistance, the immune system has learned to neutralize the product before it can work.

Now the honest part, because this is where the internet gets irresponsible.

True antibody resistance is uncommon. It's real and documented, but it's not the usual explanation, and you should be suspicious of anyone who jumps straight to it. Far more often, disappointing results come from something much more fixable:

  1. Under-dosing. The most common cause by a wide margin. Strong muscles need more product than a standard treatment provides.
  2. Stretching your interval. Coming in at five or six months instead of three or four means you're starting from zero every time.
  3. Injection placement. Technique varies enormously between injectors.
  4. Life changes. A new fitness routine, weight change, or thyroid shift can all alter how quickly you metabolize it.
  5. Expectations drifting. Sometimes the result is the same and the standard has moved. That's worth naming out loud.

What we actually do. If you tell us your Botox has stopped working, we don't hand you Xeomin and take your money. We look at your dosing history, your treatment intervals, and your injection map first. Most of the time we find something adjustable. When we don't, and when the pattern genuinely points toward resistance, Xeomin is a sensible next step, because a purified formulation gives your immune system less to react to.

What we won't tell you: that Xeomin is guaranteed to fix it. Once antibodies exist, they don't disappear on a schedule, and switching products helps some people more than others. We'll be straight with you about that before you spend anything.

FAQ

What is Xeomin?

Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxinA) is an FDA-approved injectable neuromodulator that temporarily relaxes the muscles causing frown lines. It's the only neurotoxin purified to contain the active molecule alone, with no complexing proteins, which is why it's sometimes called a "naked" toxin.

How is Xeomin different from Botox?

Xeomin contains no complexing proteins; Botox does. Both work the same way and last a similar 3 to 4 months, and their units are roughly 1:1, which makes prices easy to compare. Botox is FDA-approved for three facial areas to Xeomin's one. Xeomin's purity may reduce the chance of developing antibody resistance over years of treatment.

Can Xeomin help if Botox stopped working for me?

Sometimes. If the cause is antibody resistance to complexing proteins, a purified product like Xeomin gives your immune system less to react to. But true resistance is uncommon, under-dosing, stretched treatment intervals, and injection technique are far more frequent explanations. We review your dosing history before recommending a product switch.

Is Xeomin cheaper than Botox?

Often slightly, though it varies by practice. Because Xeomin and Botox units are roughly 1:1, comparing quotes between the two is straightforward. We price by treatment area and provide an exact quote at your complimentary consultation.

How long does Xeomin take to work?

Median onset is 2 to 7 days, a slightly wider window than other neurotoxins, with full results at 10 to 14 days.

Does Xeomin have fewer side effects than Botox?

The side effect profiles are comparable: injection site reactions, bruising, headache, and eyelid drooping are most common. Xeomin's purity relates to long-term antibody formation, not to short-term side effects.

Xeomin vs. Daxxify - which should I choose?

Different priorities. Daxxify lasts far longer, around six months versus three to four, but costs more per session and is newer. Xeomin is the more purified formulation, costs less per session, and has a longer track record. Choose Daxxify for the fewest appointments, Xeomin for purity and value.
